A small but useful addition today: keyboard shortcuts for the web version of 3D Lab Viewer.
The Little Things
Not every feature needs to be a big headline. Sometimes the best improvements are tiny quality-of-life changes that make your workflow just a bit smoother.
If you use the viewer regularly - say, you’re reviewing multiple models in a row for a print queue - being able to hit a key instead of clicking a button saves real time. It adds up.
Available Shortcuts
The shortcuts cover the most common actions you’d want quick access to while reviewing a model. They’re designed to keep your hands on the keyboard while you work through files.
Why Bother With “Tiny” Features?
Building a product means paying attention to the details. The big features (measuring tools, file format support, sharing) get people in the door. But it’s the polish - shortcuts, responsive design, little UX touches - that makes people stay.
Every time I use a tool and think “I wish I could just press a key for this,” that’s a shortcut waiting to be added. So we added them.
