3D Lab Viewer is now mobile-friendly. You can view and interact with 3D models directly on your phone or tablet.
Why Mobile Matters
Think about the real-world workflow. Someone shares a 3D model link with you. You’re on your phone. Previously, you’d have to wait until you’re at a computer, or try to pinch-zoom on a desktop layout that wasn’t designed for touch.
Now the viewer adapts to your screen. Touch controls work naturally:
- Single finger drag to rotate the model
- Pinch to zoom in and out
- Two finger drag to pan
The UI elements resize and reposition for smaller screens so nothing feels cramped or unusable.
Sharing Gets Better
This is a big deal for the sharing feature. When you upload a model and share a link, the person receiving that link might be on any device. Maybe you texted it to a colleague, or posted it in a group chat. Mobile support means the link just works, everywhere.
For our 3D printing customers at 3D Lab Bali, this is huge. A customer can check their model on their phone right after we share the preview link. No friction, no “open this on a computer” disclaimers.
